Streetscape Update We’ve spent the winter months maintaining the existing streetscape by replacing and trees and plants, repairing, cleaning and weeding and keeping everything ready to bloom in the spring. This Spring, look for work to begin on the final phase of the streetscape. Final approvals from the State DOT are expected any day, This last phase of work on Mount Pleasant Avenue will tie the entire Livingston business district together into what has become a most appealing place to shop and dine. Marketing Update The Livingston Community Partnership Marketing Committee is committed to continue the “Find Yourself in Livingston” ad campaign with an even stronger marketing effort for 2010 to help Livingston businesses improve their bottom line. Television commercials will continue and print ads will expand to target consumers in towns such as Montclair, Englewood, Short Hills, Millburn, Basking Ridge and Randolph. The cooperative holiday ad in the West Essex Tribune was so attractive and successful that the marketing committee will be working with the West Essex Tribune to offer Livingston businesses more of these great cooperative marketing opportunities.
